This project grew out of a private
forum originally established for my group, Family HealthCare Associates
of Arlington, TX. (www.emr.lanscott.com). The original intent was to allow FHCA medical staff,
administrators and selected vendors to exchange information. As our own
selection process developed I became painfully aware of the lack of the
collective sharing of end-user information. Yes, I found
product-specific forums which were hosted at the pleasure of the
vendors. What I have needed is the unbiased perspectives and
experiences of end-user.
Once inspired I reviewed many
possible methods of sharing information. This format appears
to have the greatest promise. I run this site off of a
personal server. There are no "corporate sponsors." I am
not requesting fees or donations.
I hope this forum can serve as
touchstone for those seeking this experience.
